HEMI Kids Classes

The commitment to our children’s health at all ages is the best gift and life skill that we can give them. Setting them up with a solid foundation of fitness from an early age ensures them a lifetime of success as it promotes their neurological, physical & cognitive development.

Our program will improve coordination, balance, agility, flexibility, and endurance through constantly varied workouts.

We strive to equip them with life skills that will set them up for success inside and out of the gym by instilling confidence, self-worth, perseverance, and tenacity in our athletes.

*Officers: (6-8yrs) 3:45-4:30PM
**Corporals: (9-12yrs) 3:45-4:30PM
***Sergeants: (13+ teens) 4:30-5:30PM
Coaches may move athlete-based ability & maturity

HOUSE RULES & POLICIES FOR PARENT/KID AGREEMENT

KIDS…
*First Rule: HAVE FUN!
*Encourage each other & never say “I can’t!”
*Child must be able to follow directions given and follow along respectively with the class.
*NO swinging from or playing on ANY equipment unless instructed to do so.
*Must stay inside the gym at all times unless instructed not to.
*If you cannot follow the rules- you will sit out of the game at the end of class.
*Kids will sit along flag wall after class is finished and wait for adult/parent to sign out.

*DRESS CODE:
-Tennis shoes
-Socks
-Shorts/pants
-tank/t-shirt
-Hair tied back out of the Childs face.
-Dressed appropriately for different types of weather

PARENTS…
*Adult/Parents MUST come inside to drop off/pick up child.
*Adult/parents must be on the “pick up list” to take a child home.
*Adults are NOT coaches. There will be no giving directions or cues from the side to your child. Let the coaches COACH!
*Adults/Parents are encouraged to drop off child or stay in vehicle as class is in session. We do not have extra room and it creates a distraction for the kids. We also don’t have A/C and our fans will be used to keep your children cool.
*If needed- You can stay off to the side in the “green grass area”
*Younger siblings must be attended to at ALL TIMES and off all equipment etc.
*Please make coaches aware of any injuries/changes in Childs health.
*Each child must have their own water bottle with their name on it. We do not have a water fountain but we do have water bottles for purchase in our store area.
*Please make coaches aware of any injuries or changes in health of your child.
*If your child has any special needs or has any medications that need to be present, please bring those with your child and let us be aware.
*BE ON TIME- for drop off/pick up- we are not a daycare facility.
*Coaches may move child based on ability & maturity shown to a different class if needed.
