Ginger has been crossfitting for four and a half years. She grew up playing softball (her entire life) and was a collegiate athlete. In High School she was a cheerleader, and also ran track in middle school. Ginger is super competitive (with herself- very humble) but loves challenging her abilities.
Why she wanted to become a CrossFit Coach:
I wanted to become a CrossFit coach because I love the sport. I really love inspiring people, enjoy seeing people’s progress and feeling like I am a part of helping someone improve their life and helping them reach their goals. I love feeling like I am a part of a large family and believe me, CrossFit as a whole, has given me so much more than I could ever give it back but I certainly want to try!
Ginger has many favorite WOD’s and movements. She loves Diane, Mary and any barbell complexes. Favorite lifts are deadlifts and back squats. Her go to movements are handstand push-ups, tire flips & loves 100m sprints (even though she says she dies when doing them).
Married to Noel and she has two wonderful kiddos and a step son. (Ages 24, 19 and 17). They have a mini farm with two dogs (one still a puppy) and three cats….oh, and Meg has a fish!
Bachelor of science degree in communicative disorders from University of Central Florida. She has experience with applied behavior analysis and working in the school system as well as early intervention in a variety of capacities…as a speech language pathologist, a behavior specialist and as an early interventionist working with families and kids that have developmental disabilities and severe behaviors.
